Snaggletooth Posted July 12, 2010 #1 Posted July 12, 2010 OK, here's one of the things I'm still looking for to detail out my '84. The two plastic caps that plug the recess in the top of the risers where the handlebars bolt in. I've never seen them on the bikes I've seen and just noticed the caps in the part breakdowns while looking to replace some other parts. Before I begin chasing in cyberspace to make sure they are still available (I found a couple that claim they are) I thought I might ask if anyone had an extra set laying around that needed a good home. Part# 26H-26133-00-00 Between those and my project to replace the tripmeter reset button I'm about there, I think, unless I find out something else is missing. LOL!

skydoc_17 Posted July 12, 2010 #5 Posted July 12, 2010 Hey Mike, I can order a pair of those caps in for $18.00 and a few bucks to ship. If I can help, Let me know. Earl
Snaggletooth Posted July 13, 2010 Author #6 Posted July 13, 2010 Hi Ya Earl, Yep that's about the same price I'm seeing. Was kind of curious as to them them being that easy to get. Figured I'd be on another chicken lip hunt. I'll give ya a shout of mine guys don't pan out. Thanks. Mike
mraf Posted July 13, 2010 #7 Posted July 13, 2010 I believe you can go to a hardware store and buy stainless steel caps that plug holes in sinks. The outside diameter of them measures 1 1/8". They will work just put gasket sealer on the back side to help hold them in place. Thats what I have on my 86 and buffed up nice they look chromed.
