Yesterday I filled up the bike and then a little while later I noticed one bar on the fuel gauge blinking. When the bike is started, all the bars blink then only one bar blicks.

Sending unit or is it in the display, or did a wire come off. ?

The fuel gauge display has a self diagnostic capability for several system on the bike. Check the shop manual for what it may be trying to tell you.

The diagnostic procedure is in the shop manual. It involves counting the number of blinks and checking the low fuel level light. But it sounds like either your fuel sender or thermistor may be acting up. On this digital stuff a reboot often solves the problem. Try disconnecting the battery for 10 to 20 seconds and see what happens.

Going away for a few days so will not get a chance to look at it, but will have time to Read the manual.

I was wondering if the blinking had something to do with the diagnostics but has been running good the last couple days. A little over 900 km (550 miles) this weekend.
