Paint prep ???

Ok, I got a fairing to use temporary(midnight fairing on a gray bike, HMMMMM?), so I can fix and paint the boo-boos on my gray RSV fairing (Why do my bikes always seem to take on the Johnny Cash's one piece at a time Cadillac look? ).

Some of the scratches are kinda deep, so I'm wondering what sand paper to use and will conventional body filler (aka Bondo) stick to ABS? Will "rattle can" primer work, or is there something special needed for ABS? Guess I gotta be real careful of the pin-stripes, 'cause I bet Yammie is REAL proud of those!!!

Once I get the scratches out, I guess there is no hope a Stealership will give up the paint codes, Huh?
