After the first dealer said, "Hmmm, that wet spot behind your left front cylinder head, we're not sure where it's coming from, let's watch if for a while" and me not caring for that answer, called a second dealer who, at least on the phone, was very, very helpful. He took my VIN and said he'd call back in a few minutes, which he did. He said the 07's may have not had the head bolts torqued correctly. He said Yamaha will replace the gasket and they'll tighten the bolts to spec. Mid-Ohio in Mt. Vernon, OH.

 

Nice, one dealer, not sure what's going on. The other dealer, clearly up to date on his Yamaha's. Just wanted to let other 07' owners be aware, there is a situation with certain 07's out there. Hope this helps. Mike

Two weeks after picking up my '07 RSV I had same problem. My dealer had it fixed in an afternoon with no issues.
