They stole" The Rooster Tail",At least half of it.It was announced today that The Rooster Tail Has been renamed The Diamondback.Story here. http://diamondbacknc.com/. The good part is that highway 80 is still the best road to ride and it still belongs to THE ROOSTER.Here is a couple videos of The Rooster Tail.

i ride that every time i go up ther i like it better then the tail of the dragon i hope to be up over labor day i will let you know cliff ny brother that rode the gold wing sold his bike he said that due to his bad back his legs where ging numb so he had to sell it

Looks Familiar, there is 100's tail of Dragons in that area, but there is only one tail of Roosrer, Amen. Nice, make me book Asheville this year, Is it going to be Asheville at all?

If you are talking about the Asheville rally, it is scheduled for August 11-15. Look in the rally section and please consider coming. We have a great time. Usually, the Rooster Tail is one of our rides.

If I am in a hot dogging mood, I actually like going up the mountain better. I just like being able to slow it down quicker.

I too enjoy the ride up but everytime I ride up the mountain I have to ride back down it,or one of the others to get back home.
