elmicko Posted June 27, 2010 #2 Posted June 27, 2010 This may not be what you're looking for, but they are a nice alternative. http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go/Home.ProductDetail/catID/10/scID/16/IMID/3881

LilBeaver Posted June 28, 2010 #5 Posted June 28, 2010 For something a wee bit less expensive, there are some more ideas here: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=48662
scottc Posted June 28, 2010 #6 Posted June 28, 2010 I went the route Lilbeaver went. I took two 4x4 peice's of wood about 6" long and painted them black. Went to Lowes and got the biggest zip ties they had. With the wood sitting on the rubber floorboards and the huge zip ties cinched down tight, They're not going anywhere. I did a five day 1600mi trip with my 9 year old son BEFORE I relized his feet didn't touch the floorboards. He didn't complain once but the next time I planned a trip he didn't act like he was interested. That's when he told me the inside of his thighs were hurting last ride. I couldn't believe he rode that far with his feet not touching the floorboards. Now that I've fixed it I think he's ready to go again.
bongobobny Posted June 28, 2010 #7 Posted June 28, 2010 Ya know, I was going to suggest 2x4 or 4x4 pieces myself, either painted black, or for a nice custom finish, stained and spar varnished with marine no slip finish...
