What an awesome ride. Outstanding weather, great company, and a road trip to remember for Canada Day. Great to see our wonderful country side from behind the handlebars.

Many thanks for "piloting" the trip.

I like those funky red & white helmets... but don't they cause some buffeting ?

Too bad I couldn't go.. but in fact I am headed that way (Peterborough) today with the whole family. Beautiful riding roads up there.

Well we took no pictures,,, just memories of one great Canada Day.

We left Brantford @ 7 am, visited in Kitchener at Timmies until 8:30 and then left with the whole group, 6 bikes, to end up in Mono Mills about 10 am, or just a little early, seeing as Swifty led part of the way. There we met with 4 more scooters to complete the bunch at 10. We left at 10:30 and motored our way to Bala, with a stop for gas and P. Wizard was leading again ad I'll tell you, towards the end it got downright confusing,, and we could have been there a lot sooner had he taken the straight road,,, but NO,,,, he had to find this road that just didn't seem to know which way it wanted to go, and it seemed like we were on it for hours. It would go right, then left, and then left some more, then it would go straight just long enough to get up a gear and then it would curve again. I really wasn't all that far behind, just couldn't see around the next bend to see if Wizard was there with lunch or not, and seeing as I was getting hungry and he was finding lunch, I had to keep going, faster and faster and then another bend in the road and no lunch yet. F i n a l l y he comes to a stop long enough for me to catch up, and HE STILL HAD NO LUNCH!!!!!!! But now all is forgiven, he did find lunch, corned beef on rye, a large burger and salad, and to top it all off, an ICE-CREAM SUNDAE, eat your heart out Tom. We left there at 3pm to find some more of those pretzel roads, well actually these were more like an aftermath, but good riding indeed, all around Lake Muskoka and then off to Gravenhurst, at which time we lost a few riders due to other commitments. After we got past Gravenhurst we did some more fancy riding, took some pictures, to remember who we rode with, and then headed for home at 5pm, stopped in Fergus to rehash the day so that when we told the stories they would more or less be all the same, kind of, and then we headed to our respective nests, just to spend the night.

A REALLY GOOD DAY, glad I remember where I wasn't

to put all this verbage that Carl writes in some context one has to look very closely at the 4th picture in post #24 above to see that Carl rides the same way he poses for pictures...WITH HIS EYES CLOSED!
