This was a quick video from the trip back from MD. It was my first attempt at videoing while riding. The Youtube quality isn't as good as the original. It's also kinda shaky, I left my vent open, so there's more wind noise, and the sun was at our back, degrading the quality even more. I promise, it wasn't as scary as it looks.

The music isn't added. It is from my stock stereo and MP3 at 70-80 mph, and doesn't sound too bad. We were having a blast...making memories. Angel is learning how to make the videos now, so I can concentrate on my driving.

Hope you enjoy it. Go to full screen, and turn the sound up.

thanks for sharing Monty - tunes are great !!

All one handed. Next time, Angel will be doing it, or I will find a camera mount, for a more stable outcome.

Fun video. There's a HD Hero on my list to replace my Samsung sport cam. I embed my videos on my web site. I lost a whole season trying to learn to edit with professional level software. Eventually...

One thing to watch out for on YouTube: you can't legally record off of the stereo unless you made the music yourself. A couple of my videos are no longer available because I recorded what was on the stereo, and the copyright owners complained. Any more I leave the bike audio on headphones and the videos just get engine and wind noise.

I can't imagine that someone is going to listen to my video rather than buy a copy of an album, but that's the way the law, and the music industry that's paid perfectly good money to own the people who make the laws, want it. :confused24:

We were having a blast. Here is the second, and last attempt. We were listening to Bohemian Rhapsody. Remember Wayne's World? lol. I can't understand how so many say the stock sound system on the Ventures isn't any good. For some reason, Youtube will only let this one play in 360p, so the quality sux. You get the jist of it, though.

Bummer: Thanks for the advice. I guess they'll stay up until someone removes them.

That's how I've done it. I make the RIAA people find 'em. Then YouTube only limits the countries they can be viewed in. If a country doesn't have such restrictive copyright laws the videos are still viewable to the folks there. Eventually I'll cut the audio out of them and repost.

By the way, I'm looking for a mount that'll hook the camera to the main framework of the bike. I have a RAM mount on the handlebars, and don't really like it all that much. It shows every little motion of the bars when I start and stop. I had no idea I did that much correcting at slow speeds.
