Sleeperhawk Posted June 23, 2010 #2 Posted June 23, 2010 I have these forsale in the classified section for 150 bucks. It is good price for the pipes, brackets and clamps. So why did you not buy the Khrome Werks for the Venture instead of the HD version?
Godlover Posted June 23, 2010 Author #3 Posted June 23, 2010 So why did you not buy the Khrome Werks for the Venture instead of the HD version? From what I read on various forums the Venture Krome Werks are the same as the Harley with the brackets - I could be wrong though. I bought them new on Ebay and got them at a decent price as well. They've only been on the bike since this spring and I probably have about 1,000 miles on them - maybe a bit more.

Close but not quite the same, the ends of the Venture version that slips onto the exhaust look like the OEM pipe fitting.
waterbug Posted June 23, 2010 #5 Posted June 23, 2010 So what are you wanting for them? How do they sound?
Godlover Posted June 23, 2010 Author #6 Posted June 23, 2010 So what are you wanting for them? How do they sound? 150 plus shipping

Condor Posted June 23, 2010 #8 Posted June 23, 2010 I think they sound nice - not loud but nice rumble.... Don't they come with end tips??
Godlover Posted June 24, 2010 Author #9 Posted June 24, 2010 Don't they come with end tips?? I didn't know they were supposed to have end tips......They are as long as the OEM pipes.
Blooz Posted June 24, 2010 #10 Posted June 24, 2010 I need a set of new (louder) pipes. How much louder are these from the stockers, and will they fit a Tour Deluxe? thanks!
Condor Posted June 24, 2010 #11 Posted June 24, 2010 I didn't know they were supposed to have end tips......They are as long as the OEM pipes. Maybe the Harley style doesn't have the tips. On the Krome Werks website the Yamaha's do.... Oh well.... If they would have been Yamaha slip -ons I'd been all over them....
Godlover Posted June 24, 2010 Author #12 Posted June 24, 2010 Sold pending payment! Thanks for your interest.......
Blooz Posted June 24, 2010 #13 Posted June 24, 2010 Darn! Where were you last night ?? Oh well, the search is still on!
