What is my URL?

Help! I want to know how to insert an image using the yellow letter icon above where we type our message.

It asks for my URL, and has http:// and then what?

I have tried to figure this out, but obviously I have had to admit, I do not know.

I would appreciate your help. I guess I am a better person for it.

You have to enter a publicly accessible web location such as those in PhotoBucket.

Hi!

 

That icon is for if you want to put a picture in your post that is on another website. If you are using Internet Explorer you can right click on the picture and hit properties and it should bring up a little window that shows the address (URL).

 

If you want to add a picture from your own computer you should scroll down to the Manage Attachments button way down below where you type. That will bring up a different window that lets you add pictures to your post from your computer.

 

Let me know if that didn't make any sense!

i just right clicked on it and then went to propertys and copied the url and pasted it in the box

On Firefox, you can right-click an image and select "Copy Image Location". On my Flickr images, I use the "All Sizes" link and copy the URL provided. I use the largest version available, and let VR downsize it for me.

We have been there three times by car. My dream trip is to ride the bike. We rode 3600 miles last year round trip to and from Sturgis. I had to get back home because of work. We were only another 400 miles away from Yellowstone at that time. So we are getting closer. This is one of the geyser areas.
