Trader Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Has anyone had any experience with these "combo" replacement bulbs. http://www.customdynamics.com/motorcycle_led_bulbs.htm They can be wired so they are become running lights, extra brake lights as well as signals. But what about the amber lenses? doesn't that mess it up? I really want to increase the visibility at the rear end of my 83 VR If anyone has other suggestions, including what and how to for light bars etc I'm all ears!
awsmsrv Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Yes, I have the Dynamic Clusters & I love 'em. Extra running/brake lights with the turn signals incorporated & they're all much brighter than the original incandescents. I also have the trunk wing LED & I added some flexible ribbon strips (LED) to the chrome pieces that the saddle bags attach to. So, I've got lots & lots of brake lights that flash for the first second of activation. I've also got the KnightRider turn signal bars that I installed on my mirrors. The last thing I want to do is replace the eyebrows on the fairing with amber LED flexible ribbon strips as additional front running/turns. If someone claims they couldn't see me (coming OR going), they are truly blind or a liar. Anyway, you'll love those Dynamic Clusters.
