Second Gear Fix - Part Numbers

Doing the 2nd gear fix on my 83. I've read numerous posts here on different parts to order. Is there a " kit " from Yamaha that contains the minimum parts to order?

I'm sorry to say, but there's no "Kit" form Yamaha.

I'd definitely replace the C-Clips #6 and the Thrust Washer #5, the Holder #1, the Spring#2 and the Driven Cam #3(because we had at least two Members with this Part #3 broken, these Parts are from a later Model Vmax and updated), replace the 2nd Gear Shift Fork and undercut the Dogs and their mating Surfaces on the 1st to 3rd Gears.

 

Of Course, a close Inspection on all other Parts and Bearings in there is in Order to catch worn out Parts before bringing everything back together.
