risers or handle bar change 08 V Star

Got my 08 V star yesterday, changing from 87 royale. Sure miss my center pegs.But I will get use to it. I am 5-9 and been told to set the handle bars back for more comfort. What is the best way risers or 2010 handle bars. Opinions will really help. Mike:think:

My wife has an 08 V-Star and installed Baron Universal Kickback Risers (Part #BA-7410U). They are 4" risers with a 1 1/2" pullback. It made the world of difference between "okay" seating comfort and "perfect" fit. Picture attached, hopefully it turns out.

I had a vstar 1100 classic just sold her anyways what i did was get a set of used RSTD bars they have more pullback and were great and you will not need to change cables everything will fit it only takes about 20 minutes
