kj5ix Posted June 16, 2010 #1 Posted June 16, 2010 Here in God's Country ( TX ) where we can ride most of the year, what plug would be the best for this temperate zone,,,, I have in long years past went up in heat ( down in number I think it went ) and cant remember how that turned out,,,something to do with age I think I know the stock plug is DPR8EA-9 What about the 7EA-9

How many threads up from the bottom are blackened on the plugs. Should be about three threads for proper heat range. Gary
