I want to get a headset for my helmet. I got some good links to find it before so thankyou. What I want to know is J&M is much more expensive than the IMC setups. How good are the IMC stuff or is the extra money spent worth it for the J&M? I dont want o buy garbage and be sorry but is the J&M worth it?

I dont have speakers in my helmet as I listen to the bikes speakers. I have a J&M mic on the helmets and the quality is is very good. Some have commented that when I talk over the CB that it's very clear and sounds great. I really dont think you can get a speaker inside a helmet that sounds good, too small of a space. I will say that J&M is top of the line and like anything of quality...you pay for it.

I have the IMC and I am not sure how I sound over the mike portion but the speakers stink. Never use them, I listen through the speakers onthe bike.

Never tried J&M so can not give you a comparison.

I have the IMC for the last three years can not tell you what I sound like but have not gotten any complaints from fellow riders. My friend has them and the sound comes in clear. Model is for shorty type of helmets not full face.

Only one thing that bothers me is the wind sound of my passengers mic I know they have a cut off swicht and will be trying it guess it would be the same thing with the JM

I love the radio sound when I am riding better that the bike speakers

Hope this helps.
