Phoneman1981 Posted June 13, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 13, 2010 Recently discovered this site. So helpful! I just a few days with the help of other members I was able to locate a rack as to mount a trunk on my 2005 RSTD. As well as a luggage rack for my OEM backrest. I obtained helpful info on back strain and the "Flanders" Handle bars. The windshield on my used bike was evidently a tall wide one 22 inches or more, I did not like it, so the dealer installed a much shorter one, now too short. Does anyone perhaps have a OEM windshield? or a custom windshield in the 16-17" range? Thanks....

earwig Posted June 14, 2010 Share #3 Posted June 14, 2010 if you kept the tall wind shield they are simple to cut down. there is a thread on this site showing how its done. I cut mine down this morning, only took a half hour from start to finish.
