i have been watching my friends beagles

now i have had dogs almost all my life but im not familiar with these type

 

sadeyes the female has been drinking a lot of water and wont eat nothing but moist food today..... well shes been out in the pen for about an hour now i just went to check on her and buckey. she has the craps something bad the floor is coverd with it??

should i run her to the ER vet hospitial. she doesent look like shes in pain??

A lot dogs get sick that way if they eat food they aren't used to. They aren't the old garbage can tippers I remember from childhood...

 

or it could just be the summer heat...

 

If she acts ok, I wouldn't worry. As long as she didn't get into something trully unhealthy.

Dog will act strange when their masters are gone. Our dog will not eat for days . Eventually they will eat when they really get hungry. I had a dog once whom only will eat grass until we returned.

How long have the owners been gone?

Sounds like the heat got to her make sure she has lots of clean water and shade

Could be seperation anxiety. Zeus goes through it when we go away. Wont eat..poops, farts...whines.

does sound like the heat has got to her...is she panting a lot?...has her food changed? did she get into something, is she eating a lot of grass?, how long has she been staying with you? many questions to answer...i'll call you...

ran her down to the vet. they gave her a pill to stop the poops.

the chem lawn man was here 3 days ago we think she got some of that grass. im watching the dogs at there own home so as not to upset them so much.

this is the first time there master has been gone away from them for more then a day.

male dog is just out of puppy stage hes 2 years old. but boy is he by her side tonight.

looks like all will be fine. doc said im a worry wart??? i called mama(dianne) and she said. shes a mama,s dog. so i think upset stomache and just not use to a stranger in the house. shes slepping now but whimppers in her sleep. shes inside her inside crate door is open so she can reach me here on the sofa. thanks everyone.
