Open your web browser and go to mail.google.com

You should then be able to enter your email address and password, remain logged in and read your mail.

What browser are you using? Check your security settings and whether you will accept cookies. I prefer the soft chocolate chip with a tall glass of cold milk.

Sounds like you made an error, on the user name or password (typo). With the wifes computer, this site is probably set to remember you, for logging in.

I log in from a few different computers over the day & a couple different of operating systems. I have no problems, except when the internet firewall is down at work.

If you can login with your wife's computer but not your own, then you are remembering something incorrectly when you enter it on yours. Send me a PM or an email and I can reset the password to whatever you like. I am also updating your email for you but that would not prevent you from logging in.
