I noticed the front turn signals are running and turn but the back is not. What do I need to do so I can have it the same in the rear? Change guts or get new lights?

I think the single rear light is a huge negative. It is one of the first things I rectified. I used the Electrical Connection Turn Signal Conversion Kit (my how-to here) to add a donut of LED lights in the rear turn signals.

 

You can see them easily below.

BTW, they turn off when the signal flashes, so you get a distinctive amber turn signal.
