Just noticed that you live in Opelousas! The hubby and I have been to LA 2 times, and both were to your town!!! Our partner company owns Evangeline Downs and they brought us down there to show us the property.

Both times were in July and it was so hot and humid, I about died!

One of the guys that led us around on a tour had a crawfish boil party at his house. I had never eaten it before, but I was brave enough to eat the head off! Anyway, it was about 95 degrees that day with about 120% humidity.....he had the COLDEST beer I have ever drank in my life! It was a great party and a memory I will always treasure!

Just thought it was funny when I saw you lived there and that's the only town I've ever been in down there, except for spending a few days in New Orleans.
