Sleeperhawk Posted June 10, 2010 #27 Posted June 10, 2010 Ice is about the same distance. About 4 miles is the closest. Now folks...let's not scare all the newcomers. I don't want folks to get the idea that this is a drunken party. I've never seen anybody drunk and behaving badly. A lot of folks don't drink at all and I usually have no more than one or two beers all day. ESPECIALLY those that plan to go for a ride later in the day. All the folks that I've met at these maintenance days are very responsible people. From what I have seen, you are mostly right, but them pond monsters, now I have seen them guzzling the beer, and as long as they are guzzling the beer, you need not fear them.
MidlifeVenture Posted June 10, 2010 #28 Posted June 10, 2010 So what time Saturday morning do you get started?
Wanderer Posted June 10, 2010 #29 Posted June 10, 2010 From what I have seen, you are mostly right, but them pond monsters, now I have seen them guzzling the beer, and as long as they are guzzling the beer, you need not fear them. How do they hold them beers? And have you seen the size of those mouths? :rotf:

No wonder nobody worked on my bike during the midnight hours. Now you tell us after 5 years of having this shing ding.

BEER30 Posted June 11, 2010 #38 Posted June 11, 2010 WHAT? Nobody ever worked on your bike? hmmmm.....not even on a Sunday? If I remember correctly, I do believe Freebird's Towing & Wrecker Service and MotorBike Parts Store was OPEN on Sunday as well. BEER30
Sleeperhawk Posted June 11, 2010 #39 Posted June 11, 2010 WHAT? Nobody ever worked on your bike? hmmmm.....not even on a Sunday? That was during daylight hours, not midnight hours. You must be getting old and forgetful. Now I will never forget that first MD Mechanic and I attended.
