This morning I decided to make a brace for the lower leg by cutting down a wrap-around brace I had been given the first time the fixator came off. Asked Quickstep to cut down the metal plates than run through it...and Hey presto! made a shorter version. :happy34:

But would it work  Asked Quickstep if he fancied a ride into Fremantle for a coffee, and he said why not! Sooooo...............

YEEHAW: Took my first ride on the Quike since before Christmas. :sign woo hoo::dancefool::dancefool:

WOOF WOOF: Only a dog would understand the wind in the face feeling!! :178::sign yeah that::178:

Riding the bike is the one thing I can do independently, and feel able bodied :thumbsup2: I'm a happy little venture rider. :big-grin-emoticon:

Glad to hear you're back on wheels. Take it easy we don't want anything happening to you. Not too shabby an idea either on shortening the old brace. They say necessity is the mother of invention.
