Ferrantelli Posted June 5, 2010 #1 Posted June 5, 2010 Just received this disturbing e-mail!! Remember this before you think Arizona is wrong to pass the new law........... Montebello High School in California You will not see this heart-stopping photo on the front page of the NY Times, nor on the lead story of the major news networks. The protestors at Montebello High School took the American flag off the school's flag pole and hung it upside down while putting up the Mexican flag over it. (*See pictures below*) http://i49.tinypic.com/35k028h.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/1amth.jpg http://i50.tinypic.com/2dui0bb.jpg http://i50.tinypic.com/34ewchw.jpg I predict this stunt will be the nail in the coffin ofany guest-worker/ amnesty plan on the table in Washington ... The image ofthe American flag subsumed to another and turned upside down on Americansoil is already spreading on Internet forums and via e-mail. Pass this along to every American citizen in youraddress books and to every representative in the state and federalgovernment.. If you choose to remain uninvolved, do not be amazed whenyou no longer have a nation to call your own nor anything you haveworked for left since it will be 'redistributed' to the activists whileyou are so peacefully staying out of the 'fray'. Check history, it is full of nations/empires that disappeared when its citizens no longerheld their core beliefs and values One person CAN make a difference.... One plus one plus one plus one plus one plus one........ .. The battle for our secure borders and immigration lawsthat actually mean something, however, hasn't even begun. If this ticks YOU off....PASS IT ON! IF IT DOESN'T IT SHOULD!
flb_78 Posted June 5, 2010 #2 Posted June 5, 2010 This is 4 years old. http://www.snopes.com/photos/politics/mexicoflag.asp
Eddie Fulmer Posted June 5, 2010 #3 Posted June 5, 2010 Well it still needs to be remembered. I would guess that it's worse now than then.
jfoster Posted June 5, 2010 #4 Posted June 5, 2010 Not to much surprises me anymore...especially if it comes out of California. I think some where it was stated that through out history, the greatest civilizations only lasted several hundred years.
maindog Posted June 5, 2010 #6 Posted June 5, 2010 don't get me wrong every one who comes here legally has the right to do what ever, this country was founded by immigrants who came here looking for a better life and did it legally! but what gets me are the people who come here Illegally and then want to demand that they have as much right to be here as any one else. If you went to any other country and did that, you would not be greeted with free education, food stamps, welfare, and free heath care. you may get a nice escort to jail and they would through away the key or worse. we are a country of laws. obey them or get out ! .we don't need immigration reform, we need immigration enforcement. that's just my option. but every one has one .

ArcsSparks Posted June 5, 2010 #12 Posted June 5, 2010 nobody in washington has or will protect our borders, our school teach that what is happening in Arizona is unamerican ---- tell me what do you expect??????
LilBeaver Posted June 5, 2010 #13 Posted June 5, 2010 nobody in washington has or will protect our borders... Our border patrol, customs and immigration enforcement, etc work dam hard and from the few that I have met and know personally are WAY over-worked, underpaid, understaffed and deal with stuff that I would have never expected unless actually talking with them. While I'll agree that there are some issues with the legislature, let us not forget those that are actually patrolling the borders and working hard every day to do their part in protecting our borders. I don't know if we have any on here, but, regardless I sure appreciate all of the hard work they do, day in and day out. Just my

RedRaptor22 Posted June 7, 2010 #16 Posted June 7, 2010 What these morons don't realize is that this law is way way more fair than the current federal law. Federal law does'nt require lawful contact or even reasonable suspicion before an officer asks for your proof of citizenship does, Arizona's law requires you to actively be commiting a crime or have some other sort of lawful contact with an officer before they can ask for your papers. In Arizona if you feel there is some sort of profiling or discrimination they added a clause that allows you to sue the police, you have to sit and take it from the feds however many times they do it. Also they can tell just by pulling you over because you can't get a drivers liscense without a birth certificate, visa, temporary visa or green card, but that would fall under the lawful contact clause. I think it's great, 13 more states are working on similar bills, even Massachusets passed one that completely cuts illegals off from public services and support funds, I'm not sure how many illegals they get way up there but I doubt it can be anything like it is down here.
