FROG MAN Posted June 4, 2010 Share #1 Posted June 4, 2010 After 6 months of stress and 5 ft of snow this winter were out of here. Leaving for Hatteras Island and taking a new route. Were going south via Raleigh NC,Rock Mount and across Rt 64 to OBX.A change of scenery it's been 20 years since I went that way. My brother is going to watch my place and we have enough ammo loaded to hold down the fort for a while. Also got 4 dogs and 8 pups on patrol and one pissed off mallard duck.:rotf:
halfwitt Posted June 5, 2010 Share #2 Posted June 5, 2010 To paraphrase Adrian Cronauer (Robin Williams in Good Morning Vietnam), "It's oh-300. What's the "O" stand for? Oh my God it's early!"

DragonRider Posted June 5, 2010 Share #4 Posted June 5, 2010 Good thing your going this time of year, any later in the summer and the tar balls and oil will be rolling in........................and that sucks. I really feel for all my cajun brethren down in S. La.,or anyone anywhere else that this effects, who make their living in or on the Gulf Coast. To hear BP tell it the damages would be minimal, and short term............YEAH RIGHT, I will never buy any BP product ever again!!!!!!!!!!! The U.S. govt. allowed them to start operating that rig without an enviromental impact study because the likelyhood of an accident was non existent................ Sorry Gerald, didnt mean to hijack your thread........ After 6 months of stress and 5 ft of snow this winter were out of here. Leaving for Hatteras Island and taking a new route.
