GigaWhiskey Posted June 3, 2010 #3 Posted June 3, 2010 This way he does not have to buy the 2010 model. Talk about thinking on your feet!!!!! Really, looks good!
TEW47 Posted June 3, 2010 Author #4 Posted June 3, 2010 I got the decals from ihotrod.com. scroll to bottom of page and click on tattooedride.com. I talked to Gary and he talked me through the site to get the ones I wanted. tew47
SilvrT Posted June 3, 2010 #5 Posted June 3, 2010 Checked out that site... a lot of really nice stuff in there. I love flames but I really want to do pinstriping. Too bad someone didn't have a similar product with as many variations but in pinstripe designs.

SilvrT Posted June 3, 2010 #7 Posted June 3, 2010 They do, it's a 1st Gen! Now if that isn't a feeble stab I dunno what is! :rasberry:

Trader Posted June 3, 2010 #11 Posted June 3, 2010 you can go to just about any reputable (and many not so reputable) sign shops and they can cut vinyl decals in just about any colour...or print and cut if you want multi colour. I used to take a clients photograph, import it into my sign making program (Flexi) and uses it as the background for the graphics I created. Then once it is all designed...just cut it out (or print and cut) I'd offer to help out..but I don't have my equipment set up anymore.
Carbon_One Posted June 3, 2010 #12 Posted June 3, 2010 Good job there. It's a nice alternative to a full blown paint job or even pinstriping. They're probably relatively easy to remove later if you wanted to as well. Larry
Color01 Posted June 3, 2010 #13 Posted June 3, 2010 this site has nice pin striping decals ..they have also a venture listed. http://purpleharley.com/ http://www.purpleharley.com/pin_stripe_accents/gavin2.jpg
YamaDuck Posted June 3, 2010 #14 Posted June 3, 2010 Looks really nice but I'm not sure I want to tackle a job that tough. If you had to take 3 breaks in 2 hours that must have really been a hard job. I have to pace myself, I'm retires.
TEW47 Posted June 4, 2010 Author #16 Posted June 4, 2010 A friend put different decals on his RSTD and it took him two days. Found out if you use Windex it makes it alot easer , and it better with two people. My friend did it by himself. tew47
