Kross Kountry Posted June 3, 2010 #4 Posted June 3, 2010 I just ordered a Bridgestone S11 Spitfire from Motorcycle Superstore. 150/90-15 for $75.99 delivered The Spitfire is a duel compound tire. Softer rubber on the sides for grip and harder in the middle for longer wear. I could not find a bad review of this tire. I'm running Shinko's now and I'll be lucky to get 3K out of the rear tire. The front tire has about 3,500 miles on it now and it still look pretty good. I should get 8K out of it.
Monty Posted June 3, 2010 #5 Posted June 3, 2010 The Bridgestone Spitfire is what I put on my GS850, because it was the original equipment. Worst tire I ever bought. Only got like 3,000 miles on them. The Dunlops have the same setup with the harder and softer compounds. I think most tires do nowadays.
