Had carb sync at meet & eat I have run two tanks of gas 40.2 & 39.3 two up. I was geting 35,36 mpg at best. I thought bike was running good before sync but much more efficeint now thanks to Slick97spirit and and Eck . jmc

Well mileage improved on the last tank. I decided to run it harder and not go into 5th until 60 - 65MPH.

My MPG went to 40.2MPG so I am convinced that is the way to go. I previously had V Twins so that mentality. Not any more.

How many miles on that scoot? Mine started getting into the mid 40s two up at 55-60mph after it got broke in good, at around 40,000 miles or so.

Almost 5 years and 67,000 miles on this scoot, and I still find myself trying to shift again at 65 or so, and there ain't no more gears to be had.:bang head:
