Rockdoc Posted May 31, 2010 #1 Posted May 31, 2010 Has anyone had any experience of moving the drivers intercom plug from the tank? Does it have enough cable to go under the tank near the seat and how do you savely get the plug seating unglued from the tank? Thanks for any help.

I took off the rubber tank cover, and rerouted mine up to the just under the stereo control on the handelbars. If you need it to go further, just get an old school 5 pin DIN computer keyboard extender. I did that for the passenger connector, so it now comes up between the seats and stores in the pouch on my backrest.
Godlover Posted June 1, 2010 #3 Posted June 1, 2010 I took mine off when I put the tank bra on. I just pushed the extra cable into the ignition cover and it sticks out the side.
