Tell me about it:headache:

My loan Officer said everything was a go and all I had to do is go down and pick the bike up then comes back and says the deal fell through because of the red tape at the Naval Credit Union there on the Navy base? Pissed me off

Made me look real good

I would be very curious about that. I used Navy Federal Credit Union for many years in the service. They were always extremely prompt and helpful. What does your loan officer need from them anyways? All they should need is a payoff amount and then they give you the money. You go give it to them and they give you the title.

hey buddy, check with honda of russellville. i bought my new 2008 from them on ebay for $16,500. out the door. honda had 1.9 financing for 36 months. could'nt pass it up. can't use your own money that cheap. honda always has somekind of special credit deals. skip ebay and ask for jonathan davis. 479-968-2233 he's the ebay man at honda of russellville. he told me they sell 30 wings a month. they will pick you up at little rock, ar. airport, and you can ride it home. just a thought. i would sell you mine but every time i get on it i decide to keep it. :)

Not necessarily. Most states require that the title with loan cancellation comes to them, them first so that they can officially show the title clear in their state, then forward on to the buyer. Plus they get to charge somebody more money for something.

You do know it is a sin to trailer a GW, the eleventh commandment states,

thou shalt not trailer thy Goldwing.

On the albany Ga CL there is an 07 with 16,000 miles for $15,000.

bike is orange and in great condition.

For others that are contenplating how to get a bike home long distacne as the OP's issue is OBE by now, here is an alternative idea, get an one-way ticket on the least expensive airline from home to where the bike is, and ride the bike home.

That is how I would do it.

Ok i know it & old post but what i would do as much as i would dislike doing it this way

Take the BUS its slower but cheap and they go to almost all towns even the small ones

you get to sleep most of the way and then you head for home with the bike
