Venturing Sole Posted July 13, 2010 #26 Posted July 13, 2010 Always leave mine on reserve (4 years on my new 2006). As others have said, F trip meter comes on at 2 bars. I have repeatedly gone 40-50 miles (not klicks) on the F trip meter. Have not run out yet, although I admit the pucker factor is in overdrive when I get close to 50. Even so, I have never put more than 5.4 gallons in. Usually get about 38-39 mpg (unless I'm riding with Riderduke
Guest tx2sturgis Posted July 13, 2010 #27 Posted July 13, 2010 Well, maybe if you turn your tool kit over so it is stored with the snap side down, it will solve your problem. I just KNEW that the factory included P.O.S. tool kit had to be on the bike for SOME reason. Now I know.
