Orrin Posted October 19, 2007 #1 Posted October 19, 2007 I like to go to m/c dealers just to look at bikes, both new and used. sometimes they will let me ride one if they are not busy. What three bikes would you like to "demo" just for fun, not to buy but because you are curious. Mine is the Rocket III, Harley Road Glide, and the Valkyrie.
muffinman Posted October 19, 2007 #2 Posted October 19, 2007 For me its the BMW K1200LT maybe the Triumph Rocket and the FJR or if I could find one a Y2K Jeff
DragonRider Posted October 19, 2007 #3 Posted October 19, 2007 I give, what the heck is a Y2K??????????????????? For me its the BMW K1200LT maybe the Triumph Rocket and the FJR or if I could find one a Y2K Jeff
cowpuc Posted October 19, 2007 #4 Posted October 19, 2007 Lets see,, I LOVE horsepower, high speed wheelies and cornering,, Hmmmm,, I had a Buell Thunderbolt a couple years ago that was a little fun,, wayyyy underpowered though but the flickability was great,, Hmmm.. Okkk,, First and R1 Yamaha, then a Hyabusa and then back to the yam shop for another test on the R1.. I LOVE the idea of 102 mph in first gear,, makes me smile just thinkin about it...
muffinman Posted October 19, 2007 #5 Posted October 19, 2007 I give, what the heck is a Y2K??????????????????? It is a Jet powered bike Lewis
pegscraper Posted October 19, 2007 #6 Posted October 19, 2007 I would choose a V Max, a Valkyrie, and the Yamaha ST1300 (not sure of the model name there, their sport touring model). Honda isn't making anything right now that I would want. The rest of them never did.
DragonRider Posted October 19, 2007 #7 Posted October 19, 2007 The ST1300 is Honda's sport touring model.......Yamaha is the FJR......... Guest KitCarson Posted October 19, 2007 #8 Posted October 19, 2007 Want to ride a neat bike? Yamaha makes one of the best.....it is the new RAIDER.......it is a 1854cc Mean machine......fuel injected.....wireless throttle sensor, and straight line drive belt. If one wants a freedom machine and if one rode by oneself.......this is a very, very nice bike. Take a look at that one....you will love it. Kit
DragonRider Posted October 19, 2007 #9 Posted October 19, 2007 http://www.marineturbine.com/bike_images/bike3.jpgJeff, do you think it would be fast enuff for you........... For me its the BMW K1200LT maybe the Triumph Rocket and the FJR or if I could find one a Y2K Jeff
muffinman Posted October 19, 2007 #10 Posted October 19, 2007 Jeff, do you think it would be fast enuff for you........... Maybe yes maybe no but I could tweak the fuel controller to get a little more out of it I am sure. The one thing for sure is at top end it Would out run the blonde Jeff
DragonRider Posted October 19, 2007 #11 Posted October 19, 2007 For you it better be equipped with a paracahute and really good good brakes, it will likely outrun anything out there that is street legal.................
pegscraper Posted October 19, 2007 #12 Posted October 19, 2007 The ST1300 is Honda's sport touring model.......Yamaha is the FJR......... There you go. I knew that ST didn't sound right, but I couldn't come up with what it was. I'm thinking that electric windshield height adjustment would be really nice.
cowpuc Posted October 19, 2007 #13 Posted October 19, 2007 Oh man,, I screwed up big time.. I used all my rides up and just thought of another,, can I have 4?? Thanks,, I am off to the Boss Hog dealer to ride that 350 Chevy powered monster - the one with the optional 400 horse motor,, yeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaw 'Puc

MrRadi8 Posted October 19, 2007 #19 Posted October 19, 2007 I like to go to m/c dealers just to look at bikes, both new and used. sometimes they will let me ride one if they are not busy. What three bikes would you like to "demo" just for fun, not to buy but because you are curious. Mine is the Rocket III, Harley Road Glide, and the Valkyrie. I've already ridden 2 of your 3. So for me it would be the Rocket III, Victory Vision, and Indian Dakota.
MrRadi8 Posted October 19, 2007 #20 Posted October 19, 2007 There you go. I knew that ST didn't sound right, but I couldn't come up with what it was. I'm thinking that electric windshield height adjustment would be really nice. It's pretty sweet. I rode a K1200LT with one and played around with it. It would be nice to adjust to allow more/less air.
KiteSquid Posted October 19, 2007 #21 Posted October 19, 2007 I would like to drive the Roadog, Dodge Tomahawk (Motorcycle like Vehicle), the Bigtoe and Smalltoe bikes made by Tom Wiberg of sweden.
E-Fishin-C Posted October 19, 2007 #22 Posted October 19, 2007 Each year there is a Yamaha Demo Ride and each year I try out a V-max and a Fjr 1300
Riderduke Posted October 19, 2007 #23 Posted October 19, 2007 Been wanting to ride the Rockett III, FJR, and now the Raider OOPS, add the Victory Vision to this list.
