As a general rule I seldom do much posting on bulletin boards. It's not from lack of things to say or desire to share what little knowledge I have. Mostly it's because there is usually someone too willing and too quick to pass judgment and proclaim their superiority. If I've learned nothing in the past many years it not to poke a hornet's nest with a stick.....:whistling::whistling:

All that being said I have to put my heart on my sleeve just once and tell you good people how wonderful it is to see so many willing to offer words of support, condolences, encouragement, advise, and yes an occasional good hearted jab. :thumbsup2::thumbsup2::thumbsup2:

I've been a member here for only a short time but have witnessed countless occasions when folks have stepped up and given of themselves when they could just as easily ignored the person in need. The most obvious of these is this most recent tragedy. I know Gary and Leslie. Not because we have ever met; but because of the words I've read here this afternoon...

God Bless You!!!!!! :smile5::smile5::smile5:

We are like one huge family, and when one of us hurts, we all hurt. I have never seen such a giving and caring website ever. Time after time there is someone helping out someone else.

Glad to have you here as another member of the family!

and yes an occasional good hearted jab.

Some of these men and the lady's poke pretty darn hard, but it is in fun. :sign20:I get along better with this family than my own, so I keep coming back. I am not afraid to ask but knowing these people you do not need to ask, they are there for everyone, Even Mr. Owl. :rotf:

The group here is great and this door is open to all.

Yep, you are right, we ride each other harder than we ride our bikes sometimes, like Muffinman and myself, we are always on to each other, but without that guy, lots of us, even me might be without our 1st Gen or paying a hefty price to get our antiques fixed, he has come to the aid of......well I have lost count, he is the 1st Gen. magician here at VR...........I love the guy like a brother...........

As for family I see plenty of the guys and talk to many of them more often than I do my own brother who lives a lot closer than most of these folks here..............Its a great place with great people and caring people. Glad you see what this place is really about, not just bikes but people and their lives, thats the important part of this site, and I dont think Freebird (Don) imagined that would happen when he started this site, many thanks to Freebird for starting this wonderful group..

As I have said many times before.................

UDAMAN DON!!!

That was such a nice thing for you to comment on. Everything you said is very true.

I think we all are aware of the compassion, and honest caring for other members in this group. We are so glad you are a member, and hope that you always feel comfortable enough to say what you feel.:hurts:

can you imagine how many "light years" it would take an individual, like don, to round up a group this large, if it weren't for the internet, and yamahas!

i don't know of any other site, with any other "tie that binds", who has as many active members,with so much caring, and self giving.

i am proud , that i was allowed to become a member, here,AND IT DON'T COST ,NUTHIN'!!!!
