Freebird Posted May 25, 2010 #1 Posted May 25, 2010 Maybe I should build one of these for Maintenance Day. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31MMw3Eazqw&feature=player_embedded#]YouTube- Wall of Death[/ame]!
Sylvester Posted May 25, 2010 #2 Posted May 25, 2010 Yep, I can see Boomer CPO and Squidley doing the rotation tango!
Guest tx2sturgis Posted May 25, 2010 #3 Posted May 25, 2010 Crazy Indians...hey one of my videos pops up in the related vids at the end, near the bottom....cool!
Marcarl Posted May 25, 2010 #4 Posted May 25, 2010 Best wear a helmet when you test it out boss,,, even if the missus is watching, you just never know what happens at the end.
Freebird Posted May 25, 2010 Author #6 Posted May 25, 2010 Yea, Eileen was watching the LAST time I tried a dumb motorcycle stunt. A concussion and a few cracked ribs later, she was VERY impressed.
BOO Posted May 25, 2010 #7 Posted May 25, 2010 I have seen one of those things a couple of times. Once at the Indiana State fair in Indianapolis in about 1960. Boy was that wild. Looks pretty scary but the more you watch the guys it looks pretty simple also. I have never seen the cars in one but I did see a bear ride a motorcycle around there for a few laps. Might have tried it back a time ago but I think the old bones are a little brittle today. Great show for 50 cents though, BOO
TrainMaster Posted May 25, 2010 #9 Posted May 25, 2010 I've been several times to the one at the Iron Horse Saloon in Daytona. Bikes and go karts but not cars. That's crazy. I like it! Ken
cecdoo Posted May 25, 2010 #10 Posted May 25, 2010 I have this picture in my mind of Eileen and Dan on lawn tractors flying around in that thing:think: mite want to rethink putting one up on MD. Just sayin:rasberry: Craig
Freebird Posted May 26, 2010 Author #11 Posted May 26, 2010 Drats...I forgot about Eileen and the lawnmower....you are right...I better nix this idea.
86er Posted May 26, 2010 #12 Posted May 26, 2010 Jf you build it they will come If you build it I will come! (I think a 1st Gen could do that!) Don't think there were cars involved but my grandfather did that in the '20s on an Indian! (No pun intended!) My dad raced Harleys in the '30s (wouldn't ride an Injun cause the controls were backwards!)......guess I come by it naturally.
