Thanks to Bill & John for the original turn signal bars. Some of you wanted to know what I was doing, so here's a little peek. I just got started, and will post more photos if there is any interest.

The front lolipops are going bye bye! I have some LED's in mind. Just have to make a run to the Chrome Shop in Wildwood, FL.

What happend to the turn signals?

Hey, that's kinda cool looking. So that's what you're up to? Turn signal solution should be neat with LED's.

Keep the pics coming with your progress.

Hey dragracer you should take a look at the stratoliner passing lamps... they have 2 filaments 1 is like a parking lamp... you could use the bottom filament for a turn signal with an amber bulb.. I have the strat lights on my rsv and they're much briter than the RSV lamps.... just an idea

OK, here we go on my cheapo lightbar.

This is the stock turnsignal mount.

This is the mount after cutting off each end where the rubber grommet for the turn signals slides on. Also pictured is 3/8" threaded rod, the original rounded mounts that go under the stock passing lamps, and the nuts to hold tham all together.

The finished product installed on the bike. I kept the spacer from the original light bar.

This is what I used for turn signals.

Turn signal out of the package. I mounted it to the air deflector under each passing lamp.

This shows everything mounted on the bike.

This shows everything lit up.

I will most likely put an "L" bracket on each end and rotate the passing lamps 90* as I can't get the left/right adjustment I want for the passing lamps. Otherwise I'm happy with the way they turned out. Thoughts or comments are welcome.

Someone here grafted turnsignals or marker lights from a BMW 3-series (I believe) onto his fairing. It looked very cool and integrated.

Having not seen your lights in person, do you think it'll be hard for oncoming traffic to see w/your turn signals flashing with the driving lights on?

Possibly, but I'm more concerned with the folks behind me than in front of me.

I have to agree.. But I was thinking. Yes, I know it is a dangerous thing to do.

That a set of flat LEDs mounted in the bottom outside edge of the fairing on each side, (at the top edge of the clear behind the clear under piece) might make the whole clear piece glow amber, especially at night.

If you are not sure where I mean, I marked it in yellow here.

There are windshield LED lights that cause the plastic to glow around the edges. Wingers like them for their 'light shows' at rallys. If you edge light the lower, clear plastic, it will glow, but only the edges. Which might look pretty cool at night.

I'm looking at these for additional rear turn signals. They will mount right on the lower part of the trunk shell, just under the lid-lip. Winter project.

Those are exactly the ones I was thinking about mounting behind the clear lowers on the fairing. I was thinking of mounting them so the LEDs show through the clear and hope they also make the plastic glow a little too. I was not planing on removing my stock signals, this would be in addition to the stock ones.
