tpalshadow Posted May 22, 2010 #26 Posted May 22, 2010 We get all our supplies at http://www.midwestsupplies.com/. We either order online or make the two hour drive up to their warehouse. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. It is always fun for the kiddos to run the grain cracker at the warehouse!
Yamaman Posted May 22, 2010 #27 Posted May 22, 2010 Here is a great forum for brewing. Just like here there is a wealth of information and great people willing to share. http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f10/ That brewing rig didn't cost me that much because I did most of the work myself. All I needed was some help with the welding. It's a great hobby. I just wish I had some friends around here that shared my passion for it. They only have a passion for helping me drink the final product. I was going to post that site also. TONS of good info and fun threads to follow. I love the thread where those guys are brewing the Sam Adams Utopia clone. That Paul the nurse guy is hilarious. Lots of interesting characters. I don't post much but my handle is TxBigHops.
uechi kid Posted May 22, 2010 #28 Posted May 22, 2010 I'm very fortunate that I like only about 20 minutes for More Beer in Concord. But I do buy my hops on line from Fresh Hops. You just can't beat the price.
