Buddy Rich Cable

This will probably end up being a "duh" on my part but...I installed the cable to use with a Zumo 660. Everything appears to be working okay, except the music from the GPS...I can hear it, but it is very, very weak...unusable actually. any ideas?

If you plug the GPS into the aux. port next to the tape deck you should hear the music as well as the commands through the bikes stereo.

The Zumo 550 has separate volume controls. I'm assuming the 660 is similar. Check to see if the MP3 volume is up high enough.

Checked the internal volume...it is okay...thanks, though for the idea.

I thought the cable eliminated the need to hook into the aux directly...but I will give it a try...thanks for the lead.

Buddy's cable only does one thing... it connects the intercom mics from your helmet into the zumo mic in. It doesn't do anything for sound out.

 

You need to connect the headphone out jack from your GPS to the Aux in of the bike.
