38th Ann. Blessing of the Bikes

Saw a couple Ventures yesterday, we went over and walked around, but blessing is today. Forgot the camera too but today its first thing Im grabbing. Estimated to be about 30 000 biikes there today. Also met a fella that is trying to tell me he found 3 Millinium's all with the number 761, so that there were multiple numbers made of all. I told him about our list and said I didnt believe it. Anyone headed out there today? maybe we'll see ya there.

I was there yesterday too from about 4pm to 6pm. No plans to go today too have some house projects to do. Hope to see ya for MD-2010 ride to Freebirds from N.W. Michigan.

I saw ya ride thru, wife and I were walkin down the sidewalk when ya rolled by. Also saw a couple first gens, but they were out walkin around too. Were gonna go for a bit today - prolly not too long. Definatly going to MD. So we'll see ya there

That takes some of the eclusiveness (sp) out of owning a numbered Millenium - not good

Went back today and wife and I looked at a bunch of trailers to get some more ideas for ours. I have to say our favorite even had a venture pulling it.

Never caught up with the owner so dont know if its a member or not. Talked to 3 other venture riders who had not yet heard of this great site, so I did the polite thing and introduced it and told them top check it out.

was a good time, tons of bikes and the weather was beutiful was a great weekend of riding.

I hate to say it but some people don't know what they're talking about. I don't believe it either. Some people think any Venture made in 2000 is a MM. I also have a 2001 and a guy come up to me and asked how much it cost $30,000? People just don't do their homework.

Just as we were leaving today he came up and checked my number again, I said Hi, but he acted like he didnt remember me. We jumped on the bike and left, we didnt have time to hear the story again rofl

I have been wanting to do the Bike Blessing for many years, I guess I'll have to wait another.

Finally had a fairly good weekend too.!!!!!!!!

My wife and I were there. Had a great time. Saw a lot of Ventures there. We were there Saturday afternoon, checked out all the vendors. Had to leave early Sunday to go to Grand Rapids to meet future son-in-law's family. Then a 4 hr. ride home. Beautiful weather for the weekend!!! Never saw so many bkes in one place. Can't imagine what the airport looked like with everyone in one place. Maybe we will make a repeat appearance next year.

The above Bike and Trailer is Charlie Siebold (retire Refrig Guy and volunteer Fireman here in Cadillac, MI. Next to Crystal Flash Lp Business. Very Nice Guy. He meets on Wednesday eve at M-55 and M115 at 6pm for Ride and Eat Group. He is not into the Computer too much except emails. Email me if you want his email.
