bongobobny Posted May 16, 2010 #1 Posted May 16, 2010 Motorcycle Tom and us saw this in a parking lot this afternoon. Cracked us up!!!
saddlebum Posted May 16, 2010 #2 Posted May 16, 2010 probably a blond driver:big-grin-emoticon: My cousin once came to visit and stayed with us. She decided to go for a walk and so taking the hoyuse key she locked the door. Not knowing if it was the only key to the house or not she hid the key and stuck a note on the door letting us know were she hid the key. Yes she is blond.
mini-muffin Posted May 16, 2010 #3 Posted May 16, 2010 Guess they don't want whoever steals it to have to break the windows. Margaret
buddy Posted May 16, 2010 #4 Posted May 16, 2010 looks like they want their car to be stolen. Or better yet trying to figure out where keys are because driver door is locked. LOL:buttkick:
1 Canuck Posted May 16, 2010 #5 Posted May 16, 2010 Motorcycle Tom and us saw this in a parking lot this afternoon. Cracked us up!!! Wow, I wished I lived in such an honest neighborhood....it's still there!
bongobobny Posted May 16, 2010 Author #6 Posted May 16, 2010 Yah!! It's really bad when you leave the keys behind and nobody WANTS to steal your car...
Yammer Dan Posted May 16, 2010 #7 Posted May 16, 2010 I have been guilty of locking doors with window down. Electronic locks as you walk away from car will get you.
LilBeaver Posted May 16, 2010 #10 Posted May 16, 2010 ... trying to figure out where keys are because driver door is locked. LOL:buttkick: I know someone who has done this on more than one occasion. I won't say anymore - just in case she reads the forum without my knowledge... Now I'm going to go hide in the corner, just in case.
Skid Posted May 16, 2010 #11 Posted May 16, 2010 I came home late a few times and found the door keys still in the door. I guess my wife wanted to make it easy for me to get in. And she is not a blonde...
mrich12000 Posted May 16, 2010 #12 Posted May 16, 2010 Here in Calgary, The local Leo's are using Bait cars. They are everywhere.:photographing: This fits the M.O. The cars are various types, equipped with immobilizes. So don't be tempted if you See this scenario: Call the police..Mike in Calgary..
midnightventure Posted May 16, 2010 #13 Posted May 16, 2010 I came home the other night and my new neighbor ( a young woman) and a man were getting ready to move a huge couch in. I asked if they would like some help and they said yes. We got the couch just barely into the opening and it wouldn't go any farther. The lady had left the key in the door and the plastic wrap was hung on it. Luckily we didn't break the key. Went right on in after the key was pulled out.
Hummingbird Posted May 16, 2010 #14 Posted May 16, 2010 That picture reminds me of the blonde that locked her keys in her convertable with the top down and called a locksmith.
Sailor Posted May 16, 2010 #15 Posted May 16, 2010 On the car deck of the ferry as we were approaching the dock I saw a guy standing there with the drivers door open frantically going through his pockets. He then began searching through the car. I walked over and took the car keys out of the drivers door lock and handed them to him.
bugfish69 Posted May 17, 2010 #16 Posted May 17, 2010 I came home late a few times and found the door keys still in the door. I guess my wife wanted to make it easy for me to get in. And she is not a blonde... Ditto, a few times a week! Does gray count as blonde?
Sailor Posted May 17, 2010 #17 Posted May 17, 2010 Found these guys on the car deck. They had pried open the trunk of their Cadillac and were trying to get into the car through the back seat. They had locked the keys inside the car. I told them I could pop the door for them. The driver picked up his jacket from the hood. There was a jingle and he said OH,OH then took the keys out of his pocket.
