This is good news! :happy65: Now lets hope for a max at sentencing. :thumbsup2:

 

I do feel bad for his family, they are about to lose everything... well, everything that hasn't been moved into someone else's name over the last year.:think:

 

It is sad that the victim was shot and will suffer for the rest of his life.

It is NOT sad that he received (a tiny bit) of justice. It won't make him walk agian... But it's better than seeing that scum bag get away scott free. It would be nice if the charges were equal to the crime.:bang head:

When I walk out of my house in the morning and take a few steps toward my neighbors home, he could misinterpret that I'm on my way over there to rob and kill him, but that doesn't give him the right to shoot me, even if he is a LEO. My point is that everything we do is subject to interpretation. The officer in this case, it would seem, had a lot of options other than the one he chose. I suspect, as others have pointed out, that he chose the one he did in part due to a lack of training.
