customs officers are the same as anyone else. I have traveled all over the world since I was very young. Two rules...never go to a short customs agent, never go to a female customs agent, regardless of country. some people just let a bit of power go to their heads. Sorry short people and sorry ladies but from years of experience it is a simple observation.

There are actually three sides to every story - her side, the border patrol side and somewhere in between, the truth!!

 

I have been crossing the Can/US border regularly for 5 years now and I have never had an issue from either side - must be my charming personna!!!!

see now, i stopped going to canada because every time i tried to cross they searched me, tore my car apart searching it, and then detained me for hours.

 

i "fit" the profile, i guess. worst offense i've ever been cited was a 4 1/2 inch knife on the back floor of the car. technically an illegal weapon if it's not stored in the trunk.

 

i don't have anything on my record at all, haven't even had so much as a speeding ticket in over a decade.. just have long hair and a goatee. must be a druggie i guess.
