csogbk Posted May 7, 2010 #3 Posted May 7, 2010 Very nice. Condolences to your son. Been to two LOD funerals in the past two months......
sarges46 Posted May 7, 2010 #4 Posted May 7, 2010 RIP. Very nice tribute. I noticed there was a Canadian connection there as well, one slide showed a number of RCMP officers. Very cool. Thanks
csogbk Posted May 8, 2010 #6 Posted May 8, 2010 Rick, there is almost always a sometimes large contingent of RCMP attending officer's funerals down here. Always nice to see our counterparts from Canada.
BIG TOM Posted May 8, 2010 #7 Posted May 8, 2010 I know the pain that he is feeling. Lost 3 brother deputies in the line of duty over the past 24 years. I never want to hear the sound of bagpipes playing ever again. Condolences to you son and the fallen officers family. St. Michael as a new soldier at his side.
wakers Posted May 8, 2010 #9 Posted May 8, 2010 I will pray for your son and for the fallen officers family. I spent twenty two years as a detective in Baltimore City and lost a very good and close friend to a shooting while we were working narcotics ,it's something that never leaves you. The tribute was first class and reveals what a great friend your son was to this officer.

Been through 1 of these before. My prayers go out to the family and friends of everyone affected by this. Gdspeed.
