Good Morning everybody - What an experience, all inclusive vacation, got here yesterday and have done nothing but relax and let people wait on us.

we've got a fishing trip planned and hopefully I'll luck into a sailfish or at minimum a nice tuna.

I'm happy I don't have the Venture 'cause I'd want to go riding and that could turn sour real quick.

gonna be hard to leave next week.

We love that town.... Where are you staying? The wife and I did 7 days in PV about 10 years ago and stayed at the Krystal. If you get the chance try eating at 'La Placita' up in the neighborhood. The Krystal also sells time shares, and if you let them grind on you for an hour they will give you a free breakfast... awesome... and a 2fer1 on any tour of your chosing. I just asked what the most expensive tour was and we did that. All day catamaran ride with catered lunch at ChiChi's, drinks, and snacks. $55 bucks for both of us. Another lunch experience is at Chino's Paraiso up in the jungle. Hope you folks have a great time.....:sign woo hoo:

Thanks guys - this is our first time to Mexico, let alone an all inclusive. We're staying at the Vallarta Palace. Just a beautiful place - we had a ribeye steak dinner tonight and everything was GREAT. The presentation was awesome, the wine glass never emptied and nobody expected a gratuity. There are several 'bars' in the compound and all we have to do is ask for a drink and it's right there. no charge of course -

just an unbelievable experience - I'll have some pics when we get back.

went to a "native" show last evening - took an hour boat ride to get there, beautiful live show in an outdoor theatre, great candle lit dinner in the forest and plenty of entertainment on the water.

Condor - we stayed a the Vallarta Palace in Nuevo Vallarta ( about 15 minutes North of PV ) everything was paid for with the exception of a couple Vallarta tours we took. Linda went swimming with the dolphins ( $150 ) and we took another Catamaran ride that included a show and candle light dinner on the beach ( $160 ). All of our food was included ( 7 restaurants )as well as all the mixed drinks and beer and wine we could drink.

After we got back I looked on the net to see what it cost - ( $360 a day - ouch ) I don't think I'll be doing that again.

Did I mention that the trip was a gift to us ?? air fare included ?? maybe I did give my son all the toys he wanted when he was a kid ? Payback isn't always bad !!

Janet and I really enjoyed our time there. We stayed in a B+B near the cathedral in town. Unfortunately they rang the bells every hour, every half hour and every 15 minutes. They also rang them according to calculations connected to the Mayan calendar. After a while we did not notice it. Loved the bronze statues of space aliens on the oceanfront walk. We really enjoy visiting Mexico.
