massey130 Posted May 4, 2010 #1 Posted May 4, 2010 will allow you to input your own routes? most threads have comments about the turn by turn voice directions. i like mapping out my own route and would like to download that into a GPS. Then get the turn by turn directions without having to look at the tank bag window.
Wizard765 Posted May 4, 2010 #2 Posted May 4, 2010 Garmin 765T and 785T as well as the Zumo's will accept up to 10 routes Wayne
friesman Posted May 4, 2010 #3 Posted May 4, 2010 (edited) my cheap lil garmin Quest allows me to do that on their laptop software and then just load into the unit. it can be done on the unit as well, but it takes a bit of doing. usually on the bike I just let the gps pick the route, it hasnt steered me wrong yet, and if it was to give me a wrong turn, oh well, its just a longer ride...lol Brian Edited May 4, 2010 by friesman

aharbi Posted May 4, 2010 #8 Posted May 4, 2010 Nuvi 500/550 is waterproof and listed as motorcycle friendly. Will also do routes at less than 1/2 price of a Zumo.
midnightventure Posted May 5, 2010 #9 Posted May 5, 2010 I use a Garmin 60 CSX. I can download routes that others have made or make my own.
rumboogy Posted May 5, 2010 #10 Posted May 5, 2010 It's just a little preliminary...but I just got confirmation that Garmin is going to send me the Zumo 665 (discounted)...and when I get it, I am thinking I will be selling my Zumo 660 and Zumo 550...still not a 100% sure yet, but leaning towards selling them. Both are in EXCELLENT condition and the Zumo 550 (with XM radio) will only be sold with the GSM30 XM antenna. I will sell at reasonable cost (fair, but reasonable). I'll post in the want ads if I decide to sell and should know by the weekend. Wally
Thom Posted May 5, 2010 #11 Posted May 5, 2010 i just ordered the 750 from Tiger direct for 119.99 plus 1.99 shipping
