Yamaman Posted May 4, 2010 #1 Posted May 4, 2010 I took the plunge this week and bought a Wolo Chrome on ebay. Ad said used with minor scratches but seller deals almost exclusivley in horns and has good feedback, so I took a chance. Total cost shipped of just over $36. He still has some for sale - starting bid is $24.99. Here's one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AIR-HORN-WOLO-BAD-BOY-MODEL-519-CHROME-12-VOLT-/250624213524?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a5a5e0214 He also has the non-chrome starting at $19.99. Anybody here ever deal with this guy?
Double D Posted May 4, 2010 #2 Posted May 4, 2010 I got my all chrome one on Amazon for $37.98 and free shipping.

Little Bob Posted May 6, 2010 #4 Posted May 6, 2010 Do I need a special bracket to install? Or just remove old and install new?
Obber Posted May 6, 2010 #5 Posted May 6, 2010 Do I need a special bracket to install? Or just remove old and install new? You can make your own or get this one from Carbon One. Very nice piece. Here's the thread. http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=2770&title=stebel-horn-bracket&cat=7
Color01 Posted May 6, 2010 #6 Posted May 6, 2010 Do I need a special bracket to install? Or just remove old and install new? I bought a 55 cent L bracket by Lowes, and painted it black.
Dave3 Posted May 6, 2010 #7 Posted May 6, 2010 Wolo is now $43.50 on Amazon. The Stebel is $53 inc shipping.

Globewalker Posted May 11, 2010 #9 Posted May 11, 2010 Got the same one from Harbor Freight (online) for $39 + shipping. Just tried to install it tonight and a bit puzzled on the fitment.. see here http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?p=470927&posted=1#post470927
Guest oldroadstar Posted May 11, 2010 #10 Posted May 11, 2010 I had to round off the ends where the bracket fastened to the motor and rotate the horn counter-clockwise a tad so it would fit without touching. It may takes some minor tweaking (bending, grinding, etc.) of the bracket and as there isn't much room.
