What a day. Close calls

Left the house for work yesterday, had to turn around a mile later.

Back on the road behind a semi on a 2 land hwy goin 60 mph. A white Grand Prix (mid 90s) going the other way came within inches of going under the semi and then a few feet from me.

Two miles later, some woman decided she needed gas. Made a left in front of me. Hit the brakes and the Stebel at the same time.

I stop at the next gas station and about get into an argument with the attendant (full serve station; not my bike!). Pull out of station and spin the rear tire on a wee bit of sand/gravel. Bike laying in (on the guards) on the middle of the road.

Pop the bike up and head to work.

Nine hours later, time to come home. Beautiful day all day long. Not a cloud in the sky. Until 1:45 am when I am riding home.

 

At least I am still alive and the bike was unhurt.

Apart from the weather .... bad luck comes in threes, you're clear now!!!

(But I'd still avoid the casino.)
