What is everybodies experience with animals that walk or run out in front of them?

Back in the 70's I was riding with by brother-in-law when he hit a dog. My wife was on the back of my bike and we were following him. He had a Honda 750 four I think...anyway...a big dog darted out in front of him while we were doing about 55...I thought my brother-in-law was toast. Much to my surprise...he hit that dog and went right up over him without ever going down...dog was killed instantly...my brother-in-law was shaken up. Sometimes it just happens!

 

But to answer your first question...what is everybodies experience with animals that walk or run out in front of them?

 

My experiene is that the animals that walk or run out in front of bikes and cars do not live a very lenghty life!
