Since we heard many Voices saying the rear Brakes on the 2Gen are very sensitive, I don't think using the Carbone Lorraine is your best Choice. The're eating the Rotor too.

 

 

Imho, using normal, organic EBC Pads would be the best Idea. If you want to use sintered Pads, better use EBC HH Pads to save some Rotor Life.

What is the best pads? I hear of some that do not have the stopping power. I do not know what they are.

When I had my brakes replaced on my V Star 1300, they used EBC pads and not the stock Yammie pads.......man talk about a difference...............my brakes are far better now than when the bike was brand new.........stay away from the Yamaha pads...............

I have the EBC HH pads as well, between that and the r1 calipers, i swear i could stoppie my bike if i had the stones to try it.
