Pilot Posted October 15, 2007 Share #1 Posted October 15, 2007 Where's a good place to buy the brake pads?
Eck Posted October 15, 2007 Share #2 Posted October 15, 2007 I have found that most MC sites all are about the same in price .. (average $30 to $40),then you have to pay extra shipping on top of that.. Average $10 more.... I just go to the local Yama dealer and pay thier price (average $35 to $45) and dont have the shipping costs on top of it, and I have them the same day. Squeeze Posted October 15, 2007 Share #3 Posted October 15, 2007 on the front on your 2Gen, i'd recommend EBC HH Pads. They are the best Cost/Perfomance Ratio. On the rear, normally plain organic Pads are in order. Maybe the cheapest you can find.
Diane B. Posted October 15, 2007 Share #4 Posted October 15, 2007 2 Gen EBC HH Pads The only ones I will use. Rear: EBC FA124HH (HH for heat) Front EBC 123HH AL Bates

1BigDog Posted October 16, 2007 Share #6 Posted October 16, 2007 www.motorcycleproshop.com I got a real good price on my pads with shipping included. About 70 bucks for both front sets, delivered. EBC HH pads.
Rick Butler Posted October 16, 2007 Share #7 Posted October 16, 2007 Pilot, I support the HH pads, either EBC or Galfer.....but only on the front IMHO. You really don't want that much grab on the rear 4-piston caliper, where a stock pad will work better. And the folks at Cycle Brakes are good folks and have good prices and they carry both EBC and Galfer products. Rick
