New to the site and RSTD. Great info on this site.

Barons folks tell me the riser extension will not work on a RSTD.

Has anyone used this extension on a RSTD?

Is there another option for creating a more comfortable handlebar position?

Need to get different handlebars. Flanders 650-08783 is what I have on mine.

Thanks for the Flanders info. How hard was it to change out the handlebars?

Got an email from Baron that said they were working on a Starbar for the RSTD and it should be ready in about a month.

What he said.

Over the winter I put these bars on my 2005 RSTD. Not extremely difficult, but I did have to re-route some of the electrical lines. Didn't have to change any of the brake/clutch lines. In any case, the change was worth it. The new position is much more comfortable.

Not hard but some work. Need to re-route cabling. Brake, clutch, both throttles, cruise control. You will lose your stock end weights unless you figure out a way to keep them (I did). You have to drill a small hole for the throttle grip.
