Trying to find out where to get one. Will that one fit the 08 RSTD?

Not wanting to hijack post , but is there a difference in the mounts for ones that have touring windshield mounts. I purchased one off Ebay and it would not work.

I don't think this one would fit an 08, but this lightbar is a yamaha factory add-on. I'm sure they make one for your bike as well, have you checked ebay?

Yes I have and that is where I purchased the one I have that will not fit.

If you like small bullet types.. and are frugal..

got these from Walmart for $19

Did also buy 12v Relay and wired appropriately.

Brand: Optronics

Model: QH-87CD Platinum Burner Series (Round Chrome)

High Performance Driving Light Kit

50W Halogens... very bright

Some also mount these lower on brake calipers or highway bars

I did this on my wife's 650 VStar and the stator was not stout enough to keep up the battery. I have a fairing on mine also. Wonder if the stator will keep the battery charged?

I have 07 RSTD.. so no fairing, radio...

Had them on about a month now and no problems..

I have no other accessories added yet though..

35W would be nice.. or LED cluster maybe..

These cheapos seems would be hard to open and change the bulb.. they are pressed together

I may upgrade to a better version one day.. but for now they do the trick

Problem is when you do find the ones that beesel screws off they cost $150. Rivco makes a set I saw last week at Thunder Beach. Too high for my blood right now.
